Try this for airport buildings from the UK

I already posted this on this the airlinebuzz site, but you might also find useful.

A UK producer of 1:300 sci fi wargame figures and kit has some good resin buildings, which can be used for airport buildings in either 1:400. 1:500 or even 1:200 depending on the type of structure. Check them out on this site

They also do a futuristic spaceshuttle which with some painting could be used as a spaceplane/airliner in 1:400.

The producers are youngish (in their 30s) and the wargame stuff is quite fun too.

Is the 6mm a good size for the 1/400?

it seems that it might work with some creativity, it's more suited to 1/300 but it could work. The communications tower, the other buildings look like they would fit airplanes because they are larger. Goto the website and check them out for your self. http://www.oldcrowmodels.co.uk

I ordered some of the buildings to see if they would work with my 1/400 airport. I will post my thoughts when I get them and start playing with them.

My airport is in 1/500 scale. I purchased two (2) of the antenna with base sets and one (1) mech hangar. All of these are items are made of resin. The antenna with base fit perfectly in size and looks great next to my radar equipment. The mech hangar was a disappointment. The size is overwhelming and looked inapproiate next to any other building that I have. I have since given the mech hangar to the next door neighbor's son. In regards to the company; the merchandise was shipped in a suitable period of time.
