I was hoping that the hangar would be designed differently then the 1/500 scale so I could add it to my airport, it appears the same to me :-(

Why is Herpa making a 1:400 scale hangar? Why can't you use the 1:500 scale hangar? I mean hangars in real life are in all different sizes so I'm sure it would work fine with other scales. But it looks good and I'm sure it will be a good seller.

If the hanger was a different style, and you wanted to add it to a 1/500 diorama then it wouldn't be much good because it would look odd. However if you had it the same style,in this case it is, then there will be no problem over it looking odd.
