Except for the fact that you won't be able to alter the stand size (apparently they're all one size) unless you have appropriate skills and software and I'm sure you don't have the space for large stands, so may be better doing it by hand.

It looks like he has about the perfect amount of space for just the stand foils next to each other... Would be worth trying atleast. Its better then white paper and pencil (No offence, I know this is just a test)

To me the space looks fine. If you buy the printed foils directly from us, the only skill you need is to tape them down Software is not needed than.

So can you do the area in the photo referred to as 'Vintage' above? A good use of space which may be lost by big stands? Also out of interest, does the software feature stands with swing rounds? (As featured in the same pic?) Cos they are difficult to get accurate.

Well, I print them myself at Kinko's (around $1.10/foil, compared to $2.83/foil plus shipping), and I use spray glue (like you recommended ) as opposed to tape. I do agree that PiXelport has some limitations, but for my project, it's just right.

OK, we have 251 foils on the CD, so much about choice and variations. They are all high quality jpg files. With some basic PhotoShop knowledge anyone can change, edit, age, alter and modify those files. Take any basic foil design and change it to your needs, most of it is copy, paste & change size stuff. No limitations!

i hate reviving this ancient thread, but i have some updated photos.....i have now relocated to some new shelves in my rool, letting me spread out more....but its still not close to being permanent.....the foils will eventually be printed out using a large format printer and ill also eventually do backdrops and get the gates and more ground equipment.....

looking over the 'Spirit' at the Atlanta '96 MD-11

more of my modern acf, again, the spirit, DL 764, Swissair MD11, Aeromexico 752, LH A342 (world cup nose), and the left wingtip of my AF A380...

looking over my United 742 at a company DC-8-61, Pan Am 721 and Delta 722

looking over my Pan Am 707 at a Braniff DC-8, company 741 and 721, United DC-8, and Delta 722

my other 747 classics and my prop fleet (minus my COA Viscount)...also two of my other Braniff DC-8s

looking at my two cargo jets (no the Antonov isnt deformed, thats my crappy phone's fault, lol) and my aparently very race Swissair B747-300...which is in need of some MAJOR help...

some of the boxes

view of the centre levels

and finally, an overview of everything (Comet and AWACS visible in this one...Comet is between the red DC-8 and the Pan Am 707, AWACS is between the A300/310s)

sorry about the quality of the photos, taken with my camera phone.....

Try taping the bottoms of the paper together, then they wont stick up.
