Default LIM Intl Airport

Hello:
Here is the link to the Lima International Airport, located in PERU, SouthAmerica.
I started my collection in March 2003. This is my second airport. I am working on it. I am trying to make a replica of the remodeled Lima Intl Airport. Here are some pictures.
I split the airport in 3 different concourses, A, B, C.
You also can find pictures of my old airport at the airport gallery
http://www.wings900.com/gallery/sho...500&ppuser=2085 under carlitos's airport or Aeroperu
Hope you like it
Next phase will be to illuminate my airport.

See you later

Looks like your airport should be based in Germany.

I'm confused, on your website there is a graphic of an airport (presumably your design?) and then you've ended up using the Herpa ground foil and airport set. Are you trying to recreat Lima in terms of airlines or airport?

Agreed with you there. I think its good when someone tries to mix in the foils with their own design. But the whole airport ground being premade pretty much is not cool in my book. I think you should have gone more custom. I did, And it came out good for a first try.

I agree, and I also must say that it doesn't look much like the Aeropuerto Internacional Jorge Chávez, be it the way it used to be or the renovated version with the new terminal building and jetways. It does look pretty good for a beginner's airport, though.

Hello
Thanks for your comments. Unfortunately i dont have much time now to make my airport "the Lima Intl Airport" looks like the Lima Jorge Chavez Intl Airport, but maybe in the near future they will look alike.
I put the remote gates, because i dont have much space for my models.
I dont understand the comment about why it should be based in germany....???????
I would like to see your airports, if you can post some pictures or web links, will be wonderful to exchange some comments.
Good bye

Cuando ya tenemos todo alistado en el Aeropuerto Internacional Carmen Marco, podemos tener un Fantasy Flight. Solo necesitamos un avión para operar la ruta y tengo que saber donde queda LXA.

Speaking of which, we should have our own Airport Alliance for Spanish & Portuguese speakers...

I'll probably use Babelfish for the basic Spanish to Portuguese translation, but I'll need your help in making sure that it makes sense.

So far we've got:
  • Aeropuerto Internacional de Lima (since it's not an actual model of SPIM it won't have the same name, and it'll be more to the south so it'll be easier for me to access from the B&B in Lima I always stay at)
  • Carmen Marco International Airport
  • Leonardo International Airport
The AAML (Alianza de Aeropuertos de Modelo Latinos) is being born before our eyes...

Saludos

What if, as opposed to an Airport Alliance (which seems rather pointless to me), we make it one big holding company that runs and controls all of the member airports? The people in charge of each airport will be a member of the Board of Directors. This, IMHO, is a bit more 'realistic' when dealing with model airports.

As soon as the Adobe Photoshop CS2 and Macromedia Studio MX with Flash Professional I ordered arrives in four days, I can get to work on the website. Freewebs can provide the webspace (but it'll be our own custom-designed, template-free website), and I can get a doman from 1&1 for $5.99 a year.

I've already got an idea for a logo:

LatinPort
Model Airport Management Services

AeroPeru,

I think Anime's comment regarding that your airport should be in Germany was based on the amount of Lufthansa planes that you have.

Nice airport, although it looks very conjested. You should try to limit the amount of planes you have on your airport at one time, keep all of your planes on shelves and then take the ones you want on your airport, thats what I do.

I really like the sounds of LatinPort.

No puede usted justo descargar el estudio y el flash? También convengo que una compañía que sostiene se parecería más profesional y devloped que una alianza del aeropuerto, pero alguna gente no tiene gusto a mí en una "compañía" tan allí es alianzas del aeropuerto...

Can't you just download Studio & Flash?

I also agree that a Holding Company would seem more professional and devloped than an Airport Alliance, but some people don't like to me in a "company" so there is airport alliances...

I need a serial number that comes on the CD case. Hence, I must get an actual copy as opposed to a downloadable one. As a side note, Macromedia Studio MX includes Flash.
