Hey man, do what ever you want. I see all the polls you are posting are pointless. Just fool around until you find the best choice.

Do it like this. Do it like that. Do it with a wiffle ball bat.

I'd recomend finding diagrams from the FAR/AIM to help you with signage and how to paint it.

The FAR is a book, it is between $14 to 20 bucks depends on the dealer. The best one to get is ASA. When you get the book, look through the AIM section, it will have everything u need to know about airports as a pilot.

I live in the UK so the money is going to be different. Will be able to get this book in bookshops or will i have to go to my local airport viewing centre (center)??

hmm, ouch, are you designing an ameriacan airport or an european airport. And the FAR/AIM I believe is only in america, go check your local FBO (Fixed base operator) or any general aviation facilities and find out what book you need.

If you need it, I can scan you some pics.

To be honest i am designing an airport. American or European i'm not really bothered. Anyway, i don't have a choice. I ordered one today through Borders in Stockport where i live. Thanks anyway. What you might be able to help me with are the signs next to the runway. What do they stand for?? or what do they represent?? Any information would be quite helpful!!

Thanks!!

Rammstien just go to W900 and look at the Aiports section, there you should be able to download some FAA docs to help you design your airport, they have pretty much all the basics you should know. Just use whatever you want for a taxiway. Its frikken Trial and Error. Oh the way I did my runway (and taxiway) was by taking some AXE deoderent and spraying it on my board. And quickly after that, putting a lit match on the part that I sprayed it on.

No really I used colored pencil and paintmarker, dosn't look the best, but it I'm ok with it for now.

With some cases the Taxiway Signs sometimes have a yellow background and a black letter or letters. It depends on what type of lighting is used, from what my uncle says.
