Default Terminal 1
Terminal 1 at my new airport, Epit Airport, is almost finished. I still need to glue the roof to the Southwest concourse. This terminal will be home to Southwest's 7 gates and America West's 5 gates.

My new airport will open Friday, May 27, 2005. There will be at least one more terminal and an International Concourse. There will also be two runways at Epit. Airlines include America West, American, American Eagle, British Airways, Delta, Northwest, and Southwest. More airlines will be announced soon.

The tiny ones say "Airport next right" and the larger ones are just made up steets and words. You can't really read them in real life execpt for the Airport part.

I did a street signs just like those a week ago, takes a lot of time though. Also for a tip those "T" shaped poles similiar to your sign ones you can glue them to the ground so it can be a highway divider and you know how poles have bases, use one of those connectors from the herpa skytrain, take off the point and glue the post on top and if you got the right sized barrier it sits flush with the base of the barrier and looks very realistic. Will post pics of mine later. Keep up the great work.

While the new airport is being built opperations are currently held out of Epit Field Airport (aka MAF)...a passenger took this photo from inside Southwest Flight 773 arriving from Nashville.



A tail line up at 9:20am...

Just an update. I have added a second level for offices on the Southwest concourse. Next I will start painting.

I wish i can do somthing. Im not talented. Maby if i ever get some money I can buy some plastics and build somthing. My local hobby store doesnt get evergreen plastic any more. They get some crap that doesnt have any of the lines on the sheets.

If I ever built an airport it would be small and awesome like yours.

Quit the self loathing you moron!!!! You dont need lines on the sheets...you need a straight-edge and an x-acto. Your first little airport look ok...keep at it! And take some goddamn prozac...or get high, shi t man, do what you gotta do, but become a happy airport builder man.
