Well, its almost done. Still have to do the parking lots and streetside, as well as ramp markings for terminal 2, jetways for the PSA concourse, and ramp stains for PSA and T-2. I know that the 2nd levels werent built until the 80's and you wouldnt see a Hughes Airwest and an Eastern 757 in the same photo, but I just wanted the best aspects from 1970 to 1987. I am also in the process of building single story concourses for T-1 so I can just swap the in with the newer 2 story rotundas when I want the true "old school" look.
Hope you all enjoy!

Can I ask you how you made the terminals? I plan to make a model of JFK within the next year and need to know how to build some of the terminals |

Hi Dylan
You just blow me down of the chair!!! What a beautiful airport you have. Lots of nice details BTW: have you also made the Jetways? Please tell us about the scale 1:400??? , Buildings and materials etc. Nice to see a “retro-guy”…It is hard to beat a cheat line! – Remind me of the movie “Jackie Brown”. Well-done Dylan aeronautic

Truly the best custom work I have seen!!! As one who collects retro jets of the '70s/early '80s, I especially appreciate your work. Steve

Great work, I remember the preview you gave us last year before DAC went down the dumper, I was wondering if you would ever finish it. You never will, no matter how hard you try, there is always something add on or fix. Congrats.

Dylan, awesome stuff!!! I love those CO meatballs and your DC-10s. You've got the essence of SAN down perfectly - crowded ramp and airfield....
Lovely work and keep the pictures coming and looking forward to LAX |
