I would go for all 1:400 scale too becase mixing scales, like I did on my first airport, doesn't look very good.

I think Port Allen Airport would be in trouble if more than two of those showed up at any given time!

Default The First 4 Airline

The first 4 airlines that will be flying to PAK will be:

Aloha
Hawaiian
Japan
Fedex

In the future, PAK will be a Hawaiian Hub.
Since I am having a hawaiian hub, I will order the Dragon Wings/Jetex Hawaiian GSE along with the plain gray passenger GSE.

Passenger Operations will be served out of 2 terminals.

Terminal 1 will consist of Hawaiian, Aloha, Airtan, ATA, Jetblue, and southwest.

Terminal 2 will consist of United, American, JAL, Delta, Northwest, Aloha (Internatonal),Hawaiian (International), US Airways, and Continental.

Cargo 1 Will consist of Fedex and UPS and Cargo 2 will contain All other cargo and General Aviation.

Thumbs up

The mixed scale concept is an interesting approach. Segregating the cargo craft (assuming they are all the smaller scale) in the background creates a 'forced perspective' that may actually present a more realistic appearance for the airport. This was common in large model railroad layouts and is not unlike the technique that Brinkley employs in his photographs.

Good Luck!
