The space that i have for an airport tarmac is one foot 4 inches by width, and two feet by length. please help me figure out a good layout for my airport

first you have to decide what you want. You want cargo, terminals, hangars maybe runways. And its the best that you start drawing something yourself. I learned it that way to.

yes, first draw some layouts which you like or so (don't mind the space) later if you have a good layout, which you like you will start fitting it into your available space, first decide what space you reserve for your airplanes (like 20 cm by 20 cm) and if it doesn't fit, you will leave the runway or so out, or you make space for less planes.

Well that isn't a very large space so you should probably just make a terminal. As for the layout just make a design you like on paper and then work with that. Hope this helps.
