Tried putting makeup and powders on my pixelport tarmac to give it a worn look. Let me know what you think, better or worse?
BTW: Is it a good idea to spray the foils with a dull clear coat to remove the shine? Thanks. ![]() Last edited by anime'; 04-08-2004 at 06:08 PM. |

I think the powder makes it look great!
What a wonderful airport and as usual, I am jealous!

Excellent job. What's your secret to get these to look so good?

When we look at many of the airport model pictures shown here or on Wings900, we are surprised how much work people put into these and we are surprised how good the models look. So we do not want to judge the quality of the workmanship.
However, we can clearly see that the use of PiXelport foils enhances the look quite a bit. This new example shows how good a customized airport looks using PiXelport foils. PiXelport is currently redesigning the way it distributes its products. Over the past year, the costs of printing and shipping have increased, which in turn led to higher costs and lower than expected sales. Option 1 Starting this summer, PiXelport will offer the foils for direct download from the website in three different scales, 1:400, 1:500 and 1:200. Customers can then print their own foils. A special software coding will allow you to print as many foils as you have purchased. You will also be allowed to design your own foils and even submit them to our website for sharing the designs with other users. Price for a single foil is planned at $0.75, there will be no shipping costs. Option 2 Starting this summer, PiXelport will offer 3 CDROMS (1:400, 1:500 and 1:200) for sale, each with the full size, full resolution images of all foils. By purchasing the CD you will have full rights to edit and modify the graphics for your own personal use. With the purchase of each CD comes a free 1 month subscription to our new Design Center - an online system that allows you to upload and share your modified foils with everyone else! You can then extend your subscription at any time. Price for a single CD is planned around $50 plus shipping. The basic design software CD will be distributed as long as supply lasts for $5 (plus shipping costs) only. Please let us know which option you would prefer so we can start implementing.
