Default Love the new GSE

The new Jet-X GSE sets are really nice. We're using both the old livery and new livery sets here to depict the period of change to nrw aircraft and the new livery.

Default Last shot

The 717 replaced the DC-9 and the 763 replaced aircraft like this DC-10-30 formerly of Continental.

Sorry for the confusion. Jet-X released two different sets of Dragon GSE. The white set carries the older Hawaiian logo's and the purple set carriers the new logo's. It's anticipated that Je-X will be releasing other airline GSE sets in the future.

Your airport looks great, used a lot of your photos for reference, may I ask you for some advice on how you obtain such crystal clear shots? I have had some sucess, but the models are sometimes blurred, not at all clear like yours. Thanks

My dad and I both take the photo's. At the moment I'm asking him to take them while I'm away at school. I ask him for what I want and as soon as he can he takes them for me.

Not all of our shots are successful either. What I believe it takes is a good digital camera, a tripod (we use a monopod) to hold the camera very still and sunshine.

We use two camera's, both made by Fuji. Most of the shots are taken by a Fuji Fine Pix 4700 with 4.3 megapixels. Our other camera is a Fuji 3800 with 3.2 megapixels. I like the 4700 better as I can shoot in the Macro (very close up) mode. However, you have to have a tripod or monopod because in that mode even the slightest movement will cause blur.

Try shooting your models in the sunshine with a tripod and I think you'll get much better results.

Aloha,

Chris

The set is produced by Dragon for Jet-X. Therefore, the quality of the equipment is the same with the major difference being that it is imprinted with Hawaiian logo's. The other difference is this, the set contains a complete set of the GSE, whereas you need to buy two different sets of the generic sets to get everything. Once, again the printing detail is fantastic and the price very reasonable.
