Lightbulb New project

Well i was thinking about a new airport. But the problem was i wanted an airport with lots of widebodies and especially A340-600. As i was thinking about a design i figured that you can only have a lot of widebodies if you have a big airport. SO i came with a new idea.

This vacation i am going to build a new Airbus factory. Located in Belgium it will be a rather small factory but with lots of widebodies including the new ones A340-500 and -600. A380 will be for later on.

This brings me to a question. Can you purchase somewhere complete blank airbus models in 1/500?

There is no way to do that. You'll have to paint a model totally white and then add decals.

There must be somewhere a solution. If someone knows where you can find blank airbus models then post it. It could help me a lot.

Dragon Wings All White Series show A319, A320 & A321 plain, white models available. You'll have to search around to find them.

Check at the bottom of this page.....it shows photos and has the DW model numbers:

Can't wait to see the Airport (or Factory) when its done. I dont think that there are any widebody blanks but their are narrow ones, but still they are very hard to find. Why do you need blanks anyway. Also at the factory I hope to see a lot of the house color jets. I don't see them any more on airports.

My airport is 1/500 so i cant use Dragon Wings. Complete blanks are handy to have cause they make the idea of a real factory cause they have to be painted. But ive sarched and never found somewhere for blanks. So i am going to make the facility but it will be a facility concentrated on testing of airbus planes and in the future on the new A380. But for A380 in house colors i am still waiting.

More info about the airport later on

I did more and more research about my new project to build a new 1/500 Airbus Factory. Plans about how the hangars will look aren’t yet finished. The ground plan is ready. Again a problem cause the airport is really big. Don't have the space for such an airport. But i won't give up ill find and a way to build it.

Statistics
Runways: 1 (25)
Hangars: 4: -3 for A330, A340 and A380 series -
-1 for A320 family

Parkings: 15
Other info: the airport will concentrate itself on the testing of new planes. In the future the first A380 will be flown in from Toulouse to the Belgium factory for the tests.
