Nice work. I would love to see more of your airport.
Do you have any photos posted anywhere that are at least 640 x 480 resolution? I can feel the monitor emissions burning my retina when squinting at these thumbnails. Thanks TK Last edited by TK-421; 04-04-2005 at 08:25 AM. |

Simply amazing stuff. By any chance, is that bad boy lit for night ops? If so, I think I may have to book a flight just to go see this monster!

Hi,
I am from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I saw from your website that you planning to create Kuala Lumpur international Airport model. I am very excited and hope you will be successful in making this airport. When you expected to complete? |

Hi guys,
Thank you for viewing my Narita airport... Here, are my answer... El Cable Guy Simply amazing stuff. By any chance, is that bad boy lit for night ops? If so, I think I may have to book a flight just to go see this monster! *** Yeah, you should visit this airport, it is really great and nice... Bangkok Lady La This is a mega thread - like your mega airport. Love your work. Inspiration to us in the 'early stages'. Please keep the pictures coming. *** Thank you, I will put up more pictures once I have them... Rammstein sorry, haven't realised about this thread before but where did you put your 42x32 foot airport? What i mean is where did you get room to put it? *** Yeah, this model airport is really built at 42 X 32 foot. A complete set of this airport has caused us difficulty of movement in my house, because of my limited space, I have made this airport in a way that can be separate them into 3 parts. Of course, I can even join them up to be a complete airport again at any time... Seng-Keat Hi, I am from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I saw from your website that you planning to create Kuala Lumpur international Airport model. I am very excited and hope you will be successful in making this airport. When you expected to complete? *** Thank you for visiting my website. I guess, I have to disappointed you for this... I have just hold on building Kuala Lumpur International Airport due to some of the following reason, 01. Not much and not easy collecting Malaysia Airlines' and AirAsia's models... 02. Do not have any 1/400 scales B737-400 Malaysia Airlines' models... 03. Not much airliners flies to Kuala Lumpur Intenational Airport... 04. Most of the airliners that flies to Kuala Lumpur International Airport are using different aircrafts as what we can collect. Example, Vietnam Airlines, they are using A321 or A320, and the model's market is only B777-200 and B767-300. 05. Most of the Indonesia and China's airlines' such as Lion Air, Merpati Nusantara Airlines, Star Air, Jatayu Airlines, Riau Airlines, ShenZhen, Xiamen Airlines, Yemenia - Yemen Airways, and etc, are not out yet... In fact, I am planning to build Singapore Changi Airport instead of Kuala Lumpur International Airport. Once again, thank you for your interested with my airport... You have definitely set a reference standard by which all other airports will be judged. When I post my massive project, I'll make sure it's worthy to stand up next to your outstanding work. Thanks for sharing. I really enjoyed viewing it.

Hi guys,
Thank you for my airport here. But, I need to share with you guys with these 03 things... 01. My model airport is for 1/400 scale and not 1/500 scale. As most of you guys might thought that my airport is 1/500 scale. 02. My model airport has an authority approved given by the Japan's Aviation Authority Board. As I know, Singapore's and Japan's airport need to have an authority approval before you can make the model airport. I have checked with these 02 airports what if I wish to build an model airport just like the real airport, and they replied me that it is a serious offence if your model airport is caught by them if they did not approved you. Especially after the 911 incident, these 02 countries' airports are hardly get their approval (Singapore Changi Airport is the hardest). I guess the rest of world's airport might also started, which I heard that Malaysia, Hong Kong are started too. I advised you guys better check out with your airport which you wish to build before you build it, especially if you are intent to build accordingly to the real airport. That is why I am still holding back with my Singapore Changi Airport's and Kuala Lumpur International airport model... 03. Due to the air traffic with Kuala Lumpur is not really that much, beside that, not much models about Malaysia Airlines, I believed I will cancelled making it. Thank you. Regards, ![]() |
