I am proud to announce that I am beginning to plan the construction of a 1:500 scale model of Louis Armstrong Intl. I have the general set up done. I will be doing most of the beginning of runway 28 and almost all of the short runway 6/24. It will have all 33 gates and plenty of airside navigation. I will not include the new parking garage.
This should be a fun project and I plan on starting sometime in early January, likely later. I will try my hardest to make my most loved airport, my most detailed model. I have all the Herpa and Starjet models ready for their placement. I can't explain to you how much fun this will be. visit www.flymsy.com for more info on the airport. Thank You, Bryce Nelson P.S. Did you know that the airport will probably bet another 10,000+ foot runway to go along with the east/west (10/28) runway. It will be runway 36/18 if built. They are currently building an underground highway, just for me so I could take pictures of planes coming in. (The road goes right under the end of runway 10).
