This question is got to be the most asked.
Most people paint, or use the stuff from eztoyz. Other people use pen striping, or others like my self use special model stripes. (same thing just cheaper becuse its not weather or carwash proof)

Tarmacs are a pain in the arse.
I took some wood, painted it black (better yet get black laminate wood) sprayed it sparingly with dark grey then the same way with light grey. Then marked lines with a pencil. (see pics of my miniport)

here is a pic of the ariport im trying to recreate. im gonna bui;d it on a pice of 2x4 ply wood. unfortunately, because of space restrictions, im only gonna do a piece of runway, anbout 2 feet.
any way my question is: do you think i can make the terminal out of evergreen, i mean are there sheets of evergreen that somewhat resemble the color of the terminal?

For the windows i suggest using a clear plastic, then tint it with some of the avalible model tint spray.
Then later you can wire up some bulbs and stick 'em in.
