Question Tips on building a 1:200 Scale airport Diorama please TIA

Hello there

I am planning on building a 1;200 scale airport terminal doirama to go with my Herpa premiums.

The plan is to have jetways, ground service vehicles + containers etc

I would be very greatfull if somebody could give me a few pointers on what kind of glue to use for fixing some sandpaper (grey for the tarmac) to some wood (looks similar to pine) and finally can anyone out there please suggest the best way to figure out how to mkae the bits in the right scale as I am not entirely 100% sure on what size a GPU or a low loader is etc

Any tips would be great

Thank you for your time
