Hey everyone,
New here and have a question. I am buiding my Dragon wing collection and since I'm moving into a house soon I am contiplating display options, Case or Airport. Only problem is I cannot find 1/400 scale buildingsfor an airport, obviously 1/500 scale exist but how do they look with the 1/400's. Does anyone know where 1/400 buidings can be acquired. Thanks P.S. how does one put the airline logo under their name? ![]() |

The Herpa buildings work well with 1/400 in addition to 1/500. I think Colin from Aerodisplays said that he will be releasing a set of buildings shortly.
Those airline logos under people's member names are called avatars. You can asign one to your name in your profile. |

Hi Thrillos!
I will be releasing 400 scale buildings in the coming months but first will be the base for 400 scale first. First set will be a terminal wing. I will be at the Airliners show in Toronto on Saturday April 6th. Holiday Inn Dixon RD Near the Airport. ( The Holiday Inn which is near HWY 401) I might be there with a table and a sample of what the 400 set base will look like. Cheers Colin J.P. Campbell Aero Displays Inc.

Realistically, you will never fit an entire collection on an airport diorama. Having said that, what better way to feature your favorites than on a "real" taxiway or at a jetway? My basement remodel plans include spaces for a small airport diorama and a LOT of shelf area.
So in response to your question...I would look into both. |

Thanks for your response, I figured as much, guess I'm going to have to build a glass display case as well.
