Hobby Master has some very fine Luftwaffe models at reasonable prices in 1/72.

Stay away from Dragon or IXO...their models are ok, but the Luftwaffe planes are missing their swastikas, and that takes away from their authenticity, IMO.

Even some of the early Hobby Master Stukas were missing the Swaztika's. And I've seen some brands that don't show it in the sample photos but it does end up on the production model. Go figure... but beware of the missing Swaztikas - a no sell for me!

Try Corgi...
Their Stukas are very nice and come in many different luftwaffe markings + engine cowling comes off with great engine detail...
Pretty good Me-109. It comes with landing gear up/down + engine cowling comes off with nice engine detail...
Their Fw-190 are nice too...gear up/down as well...
Their Me262 is their best...gear up/down as well...
Also their Heinkel He-111 is superbly done with lots of details and working features...
The Junkers JU-188 is the same...very nice and detailed...

Corgi wins the "varied and unique" selection hands down. I'm a little tired of Me109's, FW190's, JU87's and Me262's... been done to death by everyone... but the big birds... the He111, JU88, JU52... and now the DO17... are superb! My holy grail - the FW200 - ahhh, one can dream still can't they?

IXO line does have some unique Lufwaffe planes, namely, the Do335, Henschell Hs-129, the Heinkel He-219, and the Heinkel 162. You won't find them anywhere else! There are some other unique non-Luftwaffe models in the series. Not perfect, but unique.
