But I hear it will be released in July or so, and if that's the case I hope the Pre-Orders don't go up for about another month or so, since I just bought models and I have to control myself and give my money some time to breathe!

I was trying to figure out how long this was going to be. So I went to the 400 scale database and took a look at the figures. It looks like it will be about as long as the 777. If thats right at least in the length, its going to be huge and heavy. Hope its a couple of months down the road. Money and my honey(wife) need a breather from these metal clumps.

I have held a pre pro here in the UK of this model and i can assure you it is one seriously heavy piece of(non plastic) metal diecast.

I'm pretty sure that they said the Gemini200 777 weighed 4 lbs. If the C-17 is a big as the 777, it would be around there.

I took those photos at the Hong Kong Toy Fair last January..I lugged that model across the border into HKG from China in my hand carry luggage..it was heavy..
the rear ramp door opens and closes and was plastic, Im quite sure that has been changed out by now...no gear up option as asked above

Remember GJ 1/200 stands are not good enough to hold a model of this weight. They barely hold the 777. I am sure this weighs more than that. They really need to redo their stands, even just so that you can get more display room in the cabinet with some on the wheels and some in the air.
