Mine is too, all I need now to complete my RNZAF lineup is a P-3K2 Orion aircraft and I'll be a one happy chappy.

Have just received my model, nice looking mode, very happy with it.One question regarding the two supplied fuel pods that are for attachment to the underside of the wings, I was wondering how others are fixing them to their models? as they do not seem to want to stay in position, glue them?

White glue is a diecast collector's best friend.

It won't harm the paint and can be easily removed if you ever decide to box up the model in the future.

Hi Dan, thanks for your response. I take that by using white glue you are referring to PVA glue ?

Correct.

Also called Elmer's glue in North America.

Can you please post some pics of your recent arrival ? I have one ordered but it's a while yet before I get it. I am very keen to see a real pic as opposed to the artistic impression that has been used in advertising.

There you go, they are without the two fuel pods attached as of yet I'm still deciding how to attach them. Will post you better ones tomorrow

That looks awesome. Congrats on that arrival what is the part behind the nose wheel that seems to be holding the front up? It seems quite dumpy on its main gears?
I am excited about receiving mine

Thanks for posting your pics mate.

Looks like your nose gear is not pushed all the way in.

No, it's def pushed all the way in and round the correct way. My first thought was that its some kind of snow ski for when they are used to fly to Antarctica?
Have googled and found a pict with them on.

It's actually a gravel protector to protect the fuselage from any loose stones thrown against the fuselage when operating out of unprepared runways.

It should be flush against the fuselage without much of the nose wheel oleo showing.

See my photos in review of my of the Aviation200 (same model tooling) Canadian version.

Oh, thanks. Had another look and with a little bit of light wiggling and pushing have now managed to push it all the way in and its now sitting firmly as it looks in the photo you have posted. You learn something new every day. now to get back to attaching the fuel pods, I see your Canadian model has them attached, How did you get them to stay on?

Antony.
