Default Question about HM F-16 antenna

I know that someone has posted the "how to" on this before but I couldn't find it. I need to straighten some of my F-16 nose antennas. Does anyone have a tip for this. It's driving me nuts looking at them bent.

the antenna is plastic, my suggestion just use some heat, low a blow-dryer and heat it up a bit and slowly bend it into position.

I would try SKF's suggestion, however the key word is "slowly" otherwise you may end up breaking the part.

The odd part is that I don't remember ever bumping and bending them. Thanks for the suggestions.

I'm sure it something I did. I have around 17 Vipers and 3 of them have slightly bent antennas. A little heat should do the trick.

imho if it were the cats, there would've been more than just bent antennas

Yes we do. A little kitten who's not suppose to be in the office. Strangely enough the three are all Israeli Vipers which are lined up ( great detective work I know). I think that someone/something has infiltrated my lair. I am going to have to implement stronger security measures.....like a "Keep Out" sign....written in kitten.

I run bent pitot tubes under warm water to soften it up. Once I bend back into place, hit with cold water.

Hi Rmac757,
I had a similiar issue with my Polish F-16 - If the above doesn't work if you get in contact with Hobby Master itself they may have a spare nose cone that you can replace.

My antenna was snapped off so I have received the new nose piece and just need to swap them over. Cost me about $10US or so (I live in Aus and cannot remember the full postage price)

HM were awesome to deal with and their communication was excellent - would highly recommend them.

Good luck!
Steven.
