@jetsarethebest: If you like it, buy it! Gemini is using the Witty/Sky Guardians mold of the F/A-18F Superhornet and there is broad agreement among the collectors that Wittys Superhornet is one of their best models.
Some may complain about the flat (but realistic in this scale!) panel lines, but thats a question of personal preferences.

@sarcasm: I know there are some new molds announced by HM like the F-15(E?) and the F-35, but i'm not sure about an F/A-18E/F Superhornet. Did i miss something here? Do you have any information about it?

Yeah this Super Hornet is nothing to slouch at. It's a great mould, Witty really hit it out of the park on this one. No sense waiting for a nonexistant HM model.

I really like my Witty superhornets, there amazing aircraft molds, detailing looks fine to me,

In relation to the HM Superhornet, Im pretty sure that there is a thread somewhere, but HM did confirm a SuperHornet for next year

Personally i dont really like it. I feel the color too flat, lag of realistic. I stil prefer HM Super Hornet.

@Bargadox, yes as "I am the ace" said HM already confirmed the F/A-18E/F Super hornet for 2014.

Thanks for the information.
I knew about the rumors of an upcoming HM Superhornet, but it looks like i missed the news that they confirmed that it will come scheduled for 2014.

I think that before HM puts out a Superhornet they will continue making different variations of the F-35. (Hopefully a Nellis F-35) But, I do look forward to the Superhornet release from HM if it happens.

Yeah - I'll hold off on the Witty Super Hornet knowing that HM are looking at it. Having said that, it's a nice looking mould. Tell me though - those that have one in their collection - the paint they're using tends to look very "plasticy" in photos...Is that an accurate representation of seeing it in the flesh? My first diecast model was a RAAF F/A-18 and I was impressed by the paint they were using. The SH pictured in the photos above...I don't know...It could be lighting, but it looks less realistic...Can't put my fingers on it...

The HM F-15E project is slated to (hopefully) be released sometime 4th quarter 2014. IF HM decide to make a Super Hornet (which I'm personally doubtful of despite the announcement that they were interested in it) it will probably be in 2015.
