Gemini Aces P-51B "Old Crow" Bud Anderson (GAUSA2FM2) Flying Mule Exclusive

I'm quite surprised this model hasn't sold out yet, I'm sure the FlyingMule is probably on its last few boxes. This one finally landed into my collection, I was a bit late to the game.

Gemini Aces North American P-51B Mustang
USAAF 357th FG, 362nd FS, "Old Crow", Bud Anderson
RAF Leiston, England, D-Day, June 6th 1944
FLYING MULE EXCLUSIVE (ITEM: GAUSA2FM2)

The 357th Fighter Group was the first P-51 equipped unit in the Eighth Air Force, beginning combat operations in February 1944. The 357th scored a higher number of air-to-air kills than any other unit in the Eighth and it accounted for 42 Mustang Aces, more than any other group. The leading ace of the 363rd Fighter Squadron was Clarence 'Bud' Anderson. Clarence Anderson ended the war with 16.25 aerial victories, plus a single strafing kill. He remained in the USAF after the war, serving as a test pilot for many years, before flying F-105s in Vietnam.

This was another great choice by FlyingMule and GeminiJets. With only 504 produced, they will surely be hard to find in the future - especially since it has the attractive D-Day stripes. They did a great job with this model, here some pictures:
