Default HM Ju-87D Stuka Luftwaffe "Immelmann" HA0113

Another rare bird recently picked up from the flyingmule, I love the winter-camo on this stuka. I've been looking for this one for a while. I have HM's first release of the stuka and they made several improvements for this release: i.e. removable canopy and the option to put on the swastika decal on the tail.

I hope HM would release more Ju-87 Stuka in the future, here's some pictures:

missing the original swastika on its tail doesnt make it a complete model....looks a bit weird...

Great pics, always wanted this one. Love the subtle scheme. Pity the swastika is only on a decal, but hey at least they offered the option unlike some manufacturers. I notice that only the early Ju 87s and Bf 110s didn't have it applied, HM seem to have moved away from this practice. Looking forward to getting this one, TFS.

I can understand the option to apply a swastika. Many collectors object to that symbol, even though it's historically accurate for the model. I prefer it on the plane, looking as it did at that moment in time. Doesn't make me like the Nazis, but completes the model as Pucara stated.

I didn't notice it at first, but the hakenkreuz has to be assembled too!

I be liking this release. I just go with the premise that the crew didn't particularly care for the National Socialist party and were slow in getting the swastika on the tail. The livery and detail of this model more than makes up for what I consider an insignificant missing detail.
