I popped on the chrome JASDF F-104, Wang Hai Mig-15 and the Iraqi Mig-21. I could have got a whole lot more but I had to restrain myself lol I'll soon see tomorrow if the order is correct when they go to dispatch it

It seems to have involved HM, Corgi and Dragon. I checked Gaincorp and Franklin Mint and they were unchanged.

The F-2 was tempting, especially when I have the Panthers F-4 and F-1 but the wrong colours turned me off, hopefully HM release some more F-2 with the correct paint job

YES! Its so hard to hold it back when there is so much to choose from.. nice! three good company... well two descent and one awesome! thats a good combination you got there I m planning to build a JASDF fleet myself... If I can get a hand on HM F-2 it ll be great, and yes I have to agree with you the livery was a let down.. but its not too bad, still acepptable I guess

Yeah I couldn't get anymore props, I already have too many so I gave Corgi and Dragon a miss.

On top of that I also got the Ace of Spades Harrier to add to the Desert Storm collection and the first release JASDF T-33 (those intakes don't seem to bad to me)

If the F-2 was $20 cheaper like the rest of them, I'd be willing to overlook the pant job lol

I missed quite a few that I wanted, like the Dragon F-16 aggressor, Wang Hai Mig-15 and the Iraqi Mig-21, as well as some others. I had to remove many from my cart, like the He111s and several WW2 birds after I saw the total.

Eric's going to get to work and have a stroke.

Holy sh*t Scott! Disregard that last PM, seems you've already cleaned house!

I'm actually kind of happy I was a late comer, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to restrain myself.

Well, I needed to get something from this, right?

DM-50106 F-15C Eagle Diecast Model, USAF 18th Wing, Kadena AFB, Japan 1 $26.99 $26.99
HM-HA0103 MiG-21MF Fishbed Diecast Model, Polish Air Force 3rd TS, "Big Fish" 1 $23.99 $23.99
Coupon: : ($4.08)
Shipping: USPS Priority Mail International - 14 Days: $21.74
Sales Tax: $0.00
Total: $68.64

The last "Big Fish" too looks like it's got quite the detail too. It'll be my first Mig-21

Just out of curiosity, can these models that just reappeared be the "model" that Flyingmule used for their photo shoot that are used on their website? Because it seems that after a person bought a model, It is sold out immediately meaning they only have 1 in stock... and is just a bit "odd" to me that these model came back after a "while" since they were first went out of stock..... Still gonna get a HM A-10 either way

I also suspect that these could be display models. In the same vein, some of the models on sale in ebay could also have been displayed before by collectors thus I have no hangover with the probable less than mint condition. I have ordered only two pieces but these are models that were sold out ages ago and so they are rare. Cannot even find them on ebay so I am happy. I have already received the UPS Tracking # within six hrs of placing the order. Cant wait to receive them. Thanks to Ukrainian Falcons!

They could be ex-display models, still, at under $30 for each rare model, can you complain lol

Two other possible reasons are a massive stock take stuff up or these items are models that collectors have returned bacause of defect and have been sitting out in the warehouse ever since.

I think that there were more then 1 item per model, I accidently clicked on the chrome JASDF F-104 twice and had 2 in my cart, I looked back at the item and it came up as all sold out, as soon as I deleted the duplicate order, it was back to in stock. I don't think they'd have two display models.

Your welcome MPS112 lol Though I'd still waiting on my tracking number

Well this was a welcome development and thanks Ukrainian Falcons for the heads-up.

CG-AA34102 Blackburn Buccaneer S.Mk 2B RAF No.12 Sqn, XW530, RAF Honnington, England, 1979 $49.99

HM-HA2206 Curtiss SB2C Helldiver USN VS-31 Topcats, "Black 47", NAS Atlantic City, NJ $44.99

HM-HA0160 Douglas SBD-5 Dauntless USN VMS-3, Christian Lee, US Virgin Islands, 1944 $25.99

HM-HA1209 Grumman TBF Avenger USN VC-58, USS Block Island, January 11th 1944 $35.99

WT-WTW72015-07 Hawker Sea Fury FB.Mk 11 Iraqi Air Force 254 Sqn, Iraq $24.99 [this was available prior to the stock increase, was just waiting for some other stuff to go with it]

AA34102 in particular was a good find since it's the Buccaneer I wanted most and is pretty rare, when it does appear on ebay it's usually UK-only shipping.

Also really wanted the white and grey schemed Avenger, Helldiver and Dauntless which can be hard to find, haven't seen them all in the same place at the same time that's for sure. These should look really well together.

Happy days.

The Mule doesn't sell previously displayed models.

I managed to snag a couple of "getting hard to find" Corgi Models for the collection during the Mule's sale (both at a very reasonable price- original suggested retail I believe).

I read at the DHP that the Mule got these from a hobby shop that went out of business. In the Pub III Section under THE DIECAST HANGAR PUB • Login

Shipment confirmed for my order.

Well igot myself a dragon wings 1/144 B29 Enola Gay so now my atomic duo is complete because the B29 Bocks Car is already in my collection.
The other plane I've ordered is the 1/144 Memphis belle bij Corgi the last edition, 1/144 is a new scale to my collection because the big 1/72 b17,24, lancasters are a bit above my paygrade haha.
At first I had som more in my cart but the postage was killing me.

Regards,

Nick.

Nice haul guys. Yeah I was quite shocked at the prices, it just shows how cheap this hobby used to be.

Sad news when a hobby vendor goes bust, there already are so few of them but he obviously was doing something wrong with that many rare models still in stock

Bad news on my order, seems like that miscounted how many Iraqi Mig-21s they had :-( Might get another JASDF model, that collection is starting to grow quite rapidly now

The mailman brought them along this evening, unfortunattly the customs got me again and made me pay 28 euros inport tax for the 2 models.
Had no cash so I'll have to pick them up at the postoffice.

Muhahaha

Can you loan me some cash to pay this credit card bill? Just kidding. Man, there were some great models available. I knew the Mule's reputation, so I had no qualms about ordering with confidence. All +/-20 models in excellent condition, MIB. Some will have to wait for a spot on the shelves, however.

I'm eating at home for a while, but I like lunchmeat and PB&J, so it's a small sacrifice to make. I stick to the 'If you can't pay it off each month, cut it up' credit card rule. They're great for emergencies... like this.

Only if you loan me some cash first lol

I'm happy what I picked up. I could have gone crazy but then I'd just be getting models I didn't really have to have but wouldn't mind at those prices.

Were they listed at their original prices from all those years ago ?

I've got the Kai and the 104 on the right as well. Great planes at great prices. That T-33 looks awesome from a distance. I may have to overcome my issue with the intakes and get one.

I just started unboxing from the sale. I've got my B-24, P-40 Flying Tigers, and UH-1 Dust Off on the shelves so far. Those little Hueys are so cool. I'm glad I was able to get 2 Vietnam era ones from the sale.

I've got some hard decisions to make about rearranging my shelves and sending some models to storage. It hurts. I just need to find room for more shelves.

Buccaneer, Helldiver, Dauntless, Avenger and Sea Fury arrived and in good order since a week or so ago. Posted a picture of the Buccaneer on my collection's thread, it's a new top favorite and TFM's $49.99 saved me a ton of money from where I was looking to get one.

So a big thank you to the folks in Grass Valley, purchasing from them has always been a pleasure.

Was really disappointed to get in too late for HM's 1:48 Grumman F3F (HA7303) and, albeit to a far lesser extent, Corgi's 1:48 AH-1 and Sioux, but you can't have it all.

There are still some residual items left over (let's think ... HM early release Bf 110; Corgi BAe Hawk, Bf 109, 1:144 Lancasters and Sunderland; maybe the Reconnaissance 2-Piece Set as a special treat), so they're not done with me just yet.

Yeah I'm ok with those intakes, I saw the red devils T-33 at my local hobby shop and thought they were at least apply well to the model and at nearly $20 cheaper then the latest JASDF T-33, I'd rather put the money into another F-104.

I will give the new release one thing, it looks alot more detailed then the first release.

Labor Day Sale going on now. Shack Bunny B-24 at a great price, but not much that interests me unfortunately. Corgi Prince William Sea King at $45, which is about the best price I've seen.

I just picked up the Prince William Sea King. It was very hard to pass up at that price!
