Thanks Dan.

Phantom and F-102 look really good, excited for the SHAR except that I might wait for an operational scheme.

Also nice to see another USAF F-5, feels like it's been a while.

F-5 and probably the F-16 for me.

Can someone explain what is going on with that 3 headed B-24?

I like that USAF F-5, and the General Dynamics F-16. Reminds me of those old Dynaflytes with that scheme, I went through a few of those in my childhood days...

Same here. Will this be your first HM F-16?

I would get the Phantom as well, but 3 models will have to suffice (for now).

There's a lot of great stuff coming from HM lately. Maybe a WILD WEASEL next !!!!!!!! argh

I got outbid on that CW Moonlighters A-6E... again. One day I will aquire it, and all my plans will come to fruition...

the B-24 could have been a very big success if HM had done it in 1/72 scale. I guess a lot of collectors has already scales of 1/72 and 1/200 in their collections and adding another scale would be a bit odd and expensive to start it.

It was a formation assembly aircraft, so maybe when other pilots saw it, they would think "Ah, there's three a/c over there... that must be the place to get in line".

Assembly aircraft were usually painted to be distinct and easily recognized by other pilots. This definately fills the bill.

Obvious like this

I'd be more inclined to display a few 1:144 (almost posted 1:44 ) heavies with my 1:72 warbirds.

So far I have one of each heavy in 1:72 and I think that is enough

Eggzactly, but I don't particularly like assembly planes for display. Maybe manufacturers are going for the "oh, that's pretty" crowd instead of the folks that want historically significant planes.

1:144 is ok for heavies that we'll never see (Cold War era), so I like the fact that some more common versions are available to compliment them.

Personally, I would prefer 1:200 if I ever ventured into another scale, so converted civies like tankers and ECW birds would be more easily available

1:44 I do that all the time...

I really like the Harrier, but the f16 does it for me especially the red white and blue tail.

Interesting pic of the same YF-16A: http://www.f-16.net/gallery_item266837.html

Carrying an Iranian flag, as the Persians were supposed to be one of the launch customers.

I do think though, the HM YF-16 is lacking the radio blade antenna below the air intake. And the RWR on the tail stub shouldn't be there. I believe the YF-16s didn't have this F-16C style addition, but just a little knob.

Nice batch of releases. I don't particularly care for the 1/144 B-24, looks too toy-like with the oversized guns, cheesy props and turret and obviously plastic wheels. The Luke F-5, the Pittsburgh Dart and the cool camo F-4 are winners, as are the two 1/48 offers.
