Default HM F-16C Block 52+, Polish Air Force HA3803

The latest addition to my collection: Hobby Master's F-16C Polish Air Force, 31st Tactical Air Base, HA3803

This is the only diecast F-16C Block 52+ to hit the market and I absolutely love it! The Conformal Fuel Tanks is a great look for the F-16 and Hobby Master really captured the model well. This particular aircraft #4043 was handed over to Krzesiny AFB on November 9, 2006. Eventually Lockheed would deliver 36 F-16C single-seat and 12 F-16D duel-seat to Poland (Hopefully HM will make this in the future!)

Here's some pictures:

I'm really glad HM provided us a range of weapons, the block 52+ looks the best when it's fully loaded. It comes with Fuel Tanks, Sniper Pod, AIM-120s, AIM-9Xs, GBU-31s, and AGM-65s

Looks great on a Witty Wing's F-16 stand:

The Polish name for the F-16C is "Jastrzab" meaning Hawk - HM provided this as a sticker so it allows the collector to choose whether or not to display it under the tail. See picture below, it's on the left side. As for the pilot, HM made a pretty good improvement. Its the same size as a Dragon Wing's pilot.

Hope you enjoyed the pictures!

Excellent pics as usual SKF!

It is a beauty although it falls outside my collection scope. Just keeping my fingers crossed for a Singapore Block 52+ C/D though..

Great pictures as always. Seems like HM corrected the height issues on the front landing gear. Still I'm surprised you even got this release already? Most retailers still dont carry the the inital HM F-16 releases yet. I would assume you got this one direct from China?

P.S. The collecting bug continues to eat away at your wallet I see..... Do you know when your going to stop buying new models at the rate your going? Anytime soon?

Thanks for posting. I have to say I think this model looks fantastic. It's the F-16 release I was most keen on from the seven or so announced thus far, and this review just reinforced that.

Looking good to me. Would be interesting to know if HM F-16 is better than Witty and DW vipers.

Great pics as usual Michael!

I am seriously tempted by this one now.

Currently in stock with most Hong Kong retailers which means another month before being available in N. American stores.

Yea I got it straight from China. Not sure when I'm going to stop....kinda have a lot of models on the table right now and not in the cabinet. Need to get a cabinet again.

Good to hear Virtual pilot was the only review I saw. Sure hope HM do a Sufa or I might have to settle for the Polish F-16. Kinda mean looking with them CFTs.

just recieved my mine and it rocks !
I only have 1 issue about it though if HM are listening ,the sniper pod should be mounted with 2 holes instead of one :P
Mine keeps on falling out and I had to use blu tack to keep it in place although the previous release didn't have that problem.
Anyone got tips on how to make the pod stay there short of crazy gluing it and ruining the paint?

just use elmer's glue.

I prefer one hole, less holes in my planes the better.

The standard white glue. It dries clear and you can detatch parts later without breaking them.

Amazon.com: Elmer's All Multipurpose White Glue, 7 5/8 oz. (E379): Office Products

Is this just a type of PVA glue? like the one that kids use in kindergarden? If so I ll probably use it when my HM KF-16 come in two weeks time

Dear fellow collectors,
is it only me but the F16 looks a little bit naked without the tampo printing
of maintenance instructions, no step markings etc.... Is this the standard now for HM? I have only the Really George and it looks not so empty....

Cheers

I have just acquired myself with the HM F-16 few days ago... and no, as a matter of fact all those pad printed instructions are visible in real life.. yes including the no step print.. but like the real F-16 in real life, there isn't much pad print on its fuselage in comparison to other aircraft...

I think this may be the first HM F-16 to sell out. It looks great and is already a re-order at the Mule. I can't wait for mine to arrive.

It may also depend on how fast the T-Bird release comes out. I don't plan on getting that one, but I'm sure it will be very popular.

Yup, HM have done a good job making this viper. Looks real cool with CFTs as well as a full loadout. I completely agree with SKF's review. It is a great add

Well SKF and Carbonplane love the way you display your purchases on this site very detailed! I use your pictures often as a reference before buying.
Keep up the good work.

Nick.

If you want one of these, you'd better hurry... they are going fast.

I've had this on pre-order for a couple months. I was wondering why it hadn't shipped to me, so I contacted the retailer. They told me they didn't know if they would get any more... it was sold out at the distributor. I was a bit mad, and don't know why I didn't get mine, but got over it and started shopping around.

I found it and ordered from 2 different online retailers only to have the order cancelled, as they didn't have any more in stock. Finally, I don't know why I didn't go there first, I was able to find it in stock at Pete's. I called this time and made sure that it was indeed in stock. It was, so I finally have one on the way. I think he is the only online US retailer with them in stock. Pete's Collectibles

Pete was very friendly and we had a nice discussion about the current diecast market. He also explained that he offers a 10-15% discount on most pre-orders if you've purchased from him before. I had tried the promo code he sent me on some items before, but it never applied the discount in the shopping cart. I didn't realize it was good for pre-orders only. Now I know.

I had the same problem. I did a pre order that was not met because the demand for this model was greater than anticipated. After that, it was hard to find this model in another store. This model is fast depleting.
