Hong Kong visit - Best shops for 1/48 scale?

Hi everyone I'm new to the forum

I'll be visiting Hong Kong in a week and wanted to know the best places to find 1/48 scale WWII aircraft. Can anyone help? I have a collection mostly made up of Armour/Franklin Mint, but have managed to add some Marushin and Hobby Master as well.

My other hobby is interviewng WWII aircrews. A dwindling group these days.

Try UML ( Universal Model Limited ) In Kowloon. Visit their website.There's a location map ( should be helpful )

Thanks for the information ....I'll check it out.... the web site does not let you do a search of their inventory however.

Yeah, its shame though. They carry Hobby Master; Dragon Models; Witty Wings and Century Wings. Not sure about Franklin Mint.

If you looking for Franklin Mint then maybe you might want to consider visiting Singapore. There's the Great Singapore Sale in the mth of June ( conducted every year ). Visit Nikko Singapore( Distributor for Hobby Master and Century Wings ) in Millenia Walk or Wheelock Place. I think they are also the distributor for Franklin Mint because they have a wide selection of Franklin Mint planes. Price range between S$170 - S$285 before discount. Discounts range between 30% - 50%.They have a website, unfortunately they also don't have an inventory or catalogue.
Now they are having a promotion for some models of Franklin Mint planes at 50% discount. Go to their website and enquire.

You might want to try asking at The Model Hangar also. There's some big Franklin Mint collectors over there.
