Crappy news ... got my Flying Mule newsletter and they're shooting down the Corgi exlcusive A-4M and MiG-29 (also a P-51). Kind of a bummer since I was really liking the plane Marine gray of the A-4 and the MiG's color was better than the planned standard release models. Oh wells.

Looking back, and now that the horrid Corgi "MiG-29" is out there scaring collectors away, I think Martin at the Flyingmule knows exactly what's best for his business. The A-4? never coming out maybe...the Hobby Master competition is just taking over the market and there are very few slots left for Corgi to survive. I am more concerned the only other 1/72 MiG-29 from Witty may also succumb to market limitations and withdraw, we'll be left with no Strizy again!

I was really sorry to see the 1/72 Tuskegee Airmen P-51C get cancelled.

I am not that upset about some of the others, because I prefer colorful examples of postwar aircraft like the A-4, F-100, etc., rather than the drab low visibility finishes.
