To All,
I've gotten wind of the fact Corgi has or will soon release the CH-34 in Army livery. Does anyone know if they have been released or who might be selling them now? My father worked on them while stationed at Fort Rucker and I'd like to get one for him. |

The 1/72 Corgi U.S. Army CH-34C Choctaw representing an orange day-glo marked example from Fort Eustis, VA in 1966 was finally released in February/ March of this year and I got mine in March. It's a beautiful model and looks great next to my other 1/72 helicopters.
I would love to someday see similar versions of the Sikorsky UH-19D Chickasaw, Piasecki/Vertol CH-21C Shawnee and the Sikorsky CH-37A/B Mojave to have a complete collection of the great medium to heavy Army piston-engined helicopters from the 1950s/60s era. |
