Not too much. Just enjoying retired life in Hawaii. Build a few WWII aircraft every now and then. What are you doing these days. Must have just about graduated from HS by now? Are you going off to college? where?

    Hello Zubart,

I found a postcard image of a Islandair DO-228-200. As I know in the past some decals were around some years ago for 1:72 scale DHC-6-300. I think they would fit on a DO-228-200 in that scale. Here is the link at where the photo is! One of your past post.

    Hey Zubart,

Glad to see your still "alive"! I hope you will pump out some airliners soon! Also, post photos of the WWII models you've been making please.

    Bill,
I set a goal to build the Aloha models and I'm pretty happy with what I did. I've been building mostly WWII stuff for the last year just for fun.

Hey, sorry I responded so late, don't take it personal. It's been a rough couple of years and I haven't been keeping up with DAC PM's.

Sorry I answered so late Adrian. You’re probably correct. There are a few inaccuracy’s about my Aloha DC-3 paint scheme. When I did the model, I had very little to reference the wings and horizontal stabilizer. I do have some correct references now that was given to me last year but I need to find them. I will get back to you shortly.
    Aloha,

    Hi John,

I was interested to see your Aloha DC-3 model and wonder if you have any photos that show the top of the wings? I am currently working with a diecast manufacturer and am interested in them doing an Aloha DC-3, but have very few photos. I note you painted the tail stabilizers white, but they appear to be natural metal in the photo on Airliners.net. Did they paint them?

    Thanks

    Adrian
