Default Some words from JCWings

Dear DA.C members,

Hello to you all.

We are glad to have this chance work jointly with DiecastAircraftforum.Com. From now on, we will always be here releasing the most updated official news on JCWings' products and movements. This sub-forum will act as a very important channel between JCWings and collectors from all over the world. Critiques and opinions are welcome. So please don't hesitate to leave a message here or PM me for any inquiry about our products.

Enjoy!

Willy

Hello Willy

How about releasing some more retro models in 1/400 using your BAC One-Eleven, Hawker Siddeley HS748, Bristol Britannia 100 and Shorts 360 moulds?

These would be great sellers in my opinion:

BAC One-Eleven 500 : BEA (red square livery); BEA (speedjack livery); British Airways (negus/red tail livery) - all long overdue!

HS-748: Dan Air; RAF Queens Flight, Mount Cook Airlines (New Zealand)

Bristol Britannia 100: Britannia Airways; BOAC (blue tail)

Shorts 360: Aer Lingus

SAAB 340 in Kendell Airlines delivery and Kendell in the Ansett Star Mark liveries would be welcome.
....and then the SAAB 340 of Rex (Regional Express)

Saab 340 will sell well Hazelton is another livery that could be done too

Overall big picture as REX is largest operator of 340 in the world, kinda makes sense to do a model of it, will be a seller for sure!!!!

I have already sent my suggestions via email. However, there is one model I have forgotten about which you can add to the list I have already sent. This model would fly off the shelves with the first one coming to me of course:

Bit of a long shot for you to consider Willy and an airframe that would need a new mould and be best in 1/200 scale. But could be a winner, with many livery options. A DH Twin Otter. Here in Loganair, but BA and Flybe could also be possibilities.

I'd love a Cathay 777-300ER regular livery and Asia's world city livery.

Maybe a Singapore 777-200 in the 50th anniversary livery?

I'm really not buying anything right now, BUT....
if JC Wings were to make a Tu-95 and/or Tu-114 (in good ole Soviet-era livery)... well that would be DIFFERENT! I'd be buying those in a heartbeat.
..... Seeing that the manufacturer that makes "classics" is apparently unwilling to do it...

This is indeed a list. It is, however, a terrible list and you should be ashamed.

A proper list would feature a fleet of Jellybean Bristol Brabazons.

Regarding 1;200 airplanes...

Personally, "toon" and alliance type schemes kinda suck- but that's just me. For you folks loving it, that's finel, go for it. Everyone has their likes and dislikes.

If you as a manufacturer really want to make some noise about something cool, go for a polished metal Convair 990B in AA's final colors. You might even
consider a Convair 880 Delta Prince, TWA Starstream...etc. They've both been around for more than half a century.

With so many other types of airliners lacking in the market, releasing stuff that's been recently done is the most boring thing you could do. If it's tough to find, that's okay.
As a collector, I like the thrill of the chase.

Speak to your R/D team and get creative...let's see something that nobody has yet to release, instead of more barf-on-a-stick, dead-dull-drift-wood, please.

We do payton, it's just these schemes have been done and done and done and done and done and done in one scale or another. You get the picture. My wish for a 990 has been released in 1/400...but only as an "A"model. I would like to see a true "B" model in any scale at this point.

Because most of these requests are from members who were still half sperm/half egg when they were last available.

I see. Your focus is very specific. Aren't there any other airlines, types, schemes? For example what about a gorgeous Loftleider CLJ-44, Air Inter Caravelle 12, Braniff Boeing 2707-300 SST?

JC Wings wants input. Those would, including the 880/990, would be a nice start.

Good to have the manufactures on DAC. Hopefully Aeroclassics and Jet-X will get sub forums too.
