I would love that Indian colors A319, having flown those tons of times... infact when I was a jobbie I flew those thrice in a week being a frequent traveller...

IC is a wonderful thing!! JC is not; let's not use them in the same sentence.
Those custom models look really great!! Kudos to the artist!!!

Sure thing AK regarding IC, now if only you could do a few of those...
Thanks for your compliments regarding the customs that I posted above, the F-27 and HS748 are my own customs with the latter being made out of a Welsh vacuform kit. The A320 was sourced from Moin using a Hogan donor and the B732 was made by Fernando of WBJets in Brazil...

Re: Some words from JCWings
Count me in for IC models too. There are so many AI releases, but so few IC.
The recent GoAir release was an interesting choice. Indigo is the much larger and more notable airline, but is still unrepresented in 1:400. Go, on the other hand, is interesting for the jelly bean tails, but only one was released, not a whole family of jelly beans. So, I was a little surprised by the release.

The GoAir A320 that was released by AC was in the hybrid colors and without an Indian reg# . So considering it as a goair model isnt fair enough.

picking an aircraft without the full normal livery is another aspect that makes this a surprising release.

I someones wonder why manufacturers choose to model non-standard liveries - hybrid or leased aircraft - when all most collectors want is a regular fleet aircraft. For some bizarre reason, they think these are 'interesting', but by doing those they are severely limiting their sales.
A regular fleet livery would sell far more especially over a period of time when the hybrid/leased scheme is long forgotten.

Overall, with the exception of AI, I think all the Indian carriers are not adequately represented in 1/400 as well as 1/200...

I generally agree, but I will say that sometimes the hybrid liveries really are interesting. But I can't imagine who would prefer the hybrid to the normal livery in the specific case we're talking about.

I like your list. I guess that when you say "Air Postale" you really mean "Aéropostale", like the one below ?
I don't know if we'll ever see a Mercure made (not Mercurie ), the choice of liveries is extremely limited. And, mind you, if an Air Inter A321 was to be done, I'd prefer Aeroclassics to do the job. The Piedmont F-28 would be welcomed too.

Just a note . . . Gemini has already done an Air Inter A320. They are quite rare now. I'm not sure if Gemini would be up for a re-release. The current one is very, very nice. I think Rui posted some shots of his here.

If you do have $250,000USD full of inventory, why don't you "unload" them to the dealers
so that they can have "special values"?

The dealers don't want unsellable garbage; there's enough good stuff on the market not to dilute it with Junk-Crap~

Hello Willy,
Like everyone else - welcome. My simple request to you is to sort out the quality issues with all JC releases which have been and still are the worst in this hobby. I don't understand why it is so difficult to use proper glue when assembling your ranges in manufacture. Recent postings have been pointing to the owner JC just doesn't care about quality control. Like everything else please fix this issue before attempting any of our requests for good releases.

Was Indian Airlines the only carrier to have the double bogie main gear option? I would be impressed if a manufacturer went to the trouble of doing this example.

Re: Some words from JCWings
Alright JC Willy. Now that you have enough info here to release 1/400s
for the next twelve and a half years, what are you going to do with it?
What are you going to release the following months?
January 2013
February 2013
March 2013
April 2013
May 2013
June 2013
Do any of these months have releases that you got recommendations from here?
If so, which ones? If not, why are learning here? Just curious.

Re: Some words from JCWings
It's nice to JC Wings making ten plus models a month in the 1/200 scale and here are 15 suggestions for you.
1. THY A321, 2. Air Baltic 737, 3. Bulgaria Air A320, 4. Ethiopian Airlines 737, 5. RAM 767,
6. Tunisair A320, 7. Vietnam Airlines A321, 8. Air India A320, 9. Air China 777,
10. PIA A310, 11. EL AL 767, 12. Uzbekistan Airways 767, 13. Yemenia A330, 14. TAM A320, 15. Avianca A320 and personal favourite of mine is a Thai Airways A330 in the new livery.

According to their FB page, only one 1/400 for Jan '13, ANZ "Hobbit" T7. Several 1/200 releases, go have a look.
