Finally a JCW rep, let's talk about new moulds. Please E-jets 170/175 and 190/197 both 1/400th and 1/200th scales. Welcome to DAC forum.

Junk-X IS JC or Willy or whatever they're calling themselves this week.

AeroClassics has participated on this, and other forums for years, and accepted feedback, so this is nothing new.

Most of what is being asked for in the 50 previous "wish list" posts is already on the market, or planned for the market, a little patience not withstanding.

Andrew, will you accept the UVAir card, or a release from Everest of JFI to pay for models? How about for every 250 gallons of Jet-A, one free Emery 727-100 or DC-8-61?

Really looking forward to seeing some more releases from you guys.
There are plenty of ideas floating around that could warrant consideration.
I imagine some of the more obscure releases might sink but 747 moulds could get a work out for a few years I imagine.
Releases like SQ 744's in Tropical and ANA Marine Jumbo's are hot sellers.
But just remember Willy that there are some hardcore collectors on this forum that just want everything now!!!

Can I just wish for better accuracy and worker expertise instead of a huge list of liveries? For example perhaps Willy can shed some light the recent Aer Lingus A330 disaster, which looked worse than the bowel movement I had this morning.

Hey man! Are you calling me "old"? It's true, I was born in the last days of the tailfin decade; and I have a reasonable allowance to spend on this hobby. Yes, new moulds aren't cheap, but it's mighty slim pickings for the more mature collector to pick up something really new.

In a nutshell, time for mfgs to GET CREATIVE. There's so much of the same stuff available at this point. I've got just about everything on my diecast bucket list. There are several first and second gen prop and turbine airliners that have been missed in 1:200. It would be a breath of fresh air to see something different than some abysmally dull Skyteam, Alliance, Toon, Pure white fuselage airplanes.

All excellent points. I think the hobby is dying a slow death due to all the boring euro-white planes that all look alike. I for one would pay more and buy more if some classic aircraft with some cheat lines would be produced.

I have two ideas for future releases I would like to add (both in 1:400). First, a Tu-134 mold would be nice in 1:400. Second, I know that JC Wings has made Saab 340s in the past. Here are some livery suggestions for that mold.

Cheers!

But a toon livery does make a good conversational starter. Speaking of which, just saw on 400SH that Inflight will be releasing 2 Pokemon 747s.

Far too many 1/400 747s on the market IMO! All major carriers have been done, so surely the market cannot absorb many more?

Like other manufacturers, JC needs to be innovative and research what the majority are asking for on all the forums. You have moulds that have hardly been touched and should not be put off by poor sales on some releases on those moulds. More thought into liveries operated by major flag carriers who have been around for many years will produce results -

ATR-42/72 and Shorts 360s - British Airways Landor,World Tails liveries and Air New Zealand would sell like 'hot cakes'.

the Hawker Siddeley HS-748 - many requests for Dan Air, Mount Cook Airlines and RAF Queens Flight.

BAC One-Eleven 500 - BEA & British Airways (negus) crying out to be done!

New moulds - no more Airbus or Boeing twin-jets please as these have been done to death!

We need models with character that would bring a good return.
In 1/400, hot sellers would be a Tupolev Tu-104, Tu-114 and Tu-134 .

Just my thoughts.

There are a few I would like that I think have never been released:
Air Pacific B767-300 1/400 (DQ-FJC)
Jet Airways B737-700 1/400 (VT-JGB or VT-JGL)
SpiceJet Q400 1/400 (VT-SUB or VT-SUG)

Also SilkAir A320-200, I know this has been done but I would like an updated one. (9V-SLK or 9V-SLN)

Thanks for giving us the chance to give our opinions -Ben

I see many requests for existing moulds. What we need is the aircraft that haven't been released...RARE birds like the Convair 889,990, CL-44D,J. For current gen...yes agree CRJ 200n and other ERJ's are strangely absent with the exception of a CRJ700 & 900, and a single Hogan ERJ-190...which has absolutely no detail whatsoever...missing tail drain masts, aerials, etc...

Some collectors would say its a weird choice and not very well known but thats exactly why i want it,

We all buy different airline for different reasons, Nationality of who we married, National airline of our country, Aircraft we have flown, Airlines who operate near our home but i also love the rare airlines of exotic places i would love to visit but will never likely go,

Air Greenland, Nepal Airlines, Air Seychelles, Air Tahiti, Cambodian airlines, Laos etc.

People who dont collect models may walk into your home and glance at a BA, Qantas or Singapore but i bet they would talk about how the Air Greenland or Air Seychelles came about.

Unfortunetly all manufacturers are reluctant to do the Air Greenland A330 or 757 and i think it would be a massive hit. You can always re-release 30-40 different BA 747s but how many Air Ggreenland A330 can you re-release if there is huge demand?

Most of what is being asked for in the 50 previous "wish list" posts is already on the market, or planned for the market, a little patience not withstanding.
Maybe not 'new', but most certainly welcomed if one stops to consider the fact that JCW also produces 1:200 models that a lot of us here like to collect . . .

Is JC wings holding a official website?
It would be nice to have a nice overview of all their products.
I know we can browse the database on DAC, but in my opinion a official website makes more sense if you are searching for products of one manufacture.
Or does it already exist because my google can't find it.

no, jc does NOT have a website. they release certain models other makers won't touch because of licence issues. so, no website.

I second on Jerry's recommendations.
These planes will definitely be good choices for Taiwanese and Chinese markets. Particular the UNI ones as there are currently no UNI models. And the FAT (Far Eastern Air Transport) would probably be next as it played a very important part of the Taiwanese aviation history.
