...ok, it's Friday afternoon and I'm bored. Been surfing, looking to buy some models...not happening, as things seem to be quiet out there and there is nothing appealing. Anyone have a cutaway to sell?

Ok, I'm so bored, I'll share this story, quite ironic actually. I live in metro Detroit. A few years back, me, the wife and kids went to Maui. One day we were at the Maui airport, waiting to take a puddle jumper to Oahau. We are sitting at the airport at 7 in the morning, waiting to board. Another couple sat next to us, with two of their friends. Seeing and laughing at us as we were eating "maui chips" in the early morning, the man from one of the couple asked us where we were from. We answered "michigan". "So are we" he replied. Asking whereabout in Michigan we were from, we replied ""metro detroit". So were they. "what city are you from" they asked....we replied and they indicated that they were from the same city. We all laughed. "what's the crossroads" they asked. We told them, and they knew exactly where the streets were. Asking us what our street name was, we told them and yes, you guessed it. The first couple lived on on our street, about 15 houses down. Herman was hs name.....we laughed. We went from Detroit to Maui to meet neighbors we had never met before. Upon returning home, I stopped to say hello to Herman at his house, and I'm not sure that I have ever seen him to say hello since. Small world, ironiic and funny story.

Ok, I'm still bored.....

Okay you know what's funny when you were talking about visiting New York, I thought you were flying from Rome (The Alitalia sign threw me off). And little did I realise that you flew to New York from very close by in Detroit (after reading this story)

Now that is funny. Thought I was dino from roma, huh? Nope, just dino from detroit, although I've been to Rome about 13 times, if I recall correctly.

The Alitalia sign threw you off. Did you think there was a Michigan (see below the sign), Italy? That's great......a nice, well needed laugh.

BTW, I'll always appreciate your detailed help with New York...thanks.
