Ok guys. Show is next sunday at the k2 in crawley. Who is defo coming??? Suggest all dacer's going meet up next to a.r.d table around noon, as i will have to leave about 1p.m.

hi chris.its a trade show being held at the k2 centre in crawley. just off the m23. a.r.d and airspotters have got stands, along with loads of other private sellers. selling all kinds of models, posters, dvds, slides, memorabilla, etc. starts at 10a.m i think and finishes at 4p.m. several members will be going, and crownvic will be there too!!!!!

well its defo worth going. always a chance to pick up a rare model you have been looking for! at my first last year, i picked up a rare gj klm fokker f70 and inflight klm dc 9, for £30 each from a guy i bumped into. turned out later to be steve c!!!! tony, there is heathrow show in 3 weeks at kempton park racecourse. there is also luton and manchester i believe at least later in year plus others.

i saw the heathrow one advertised but have to work that weekend . gutted. how busy will this gatwick one be. i dont wanna travel all the way from leicester for a few tables etc.

Thanks robert heathrow sounds interesting, luton too as i could get a direct flight from my airport ! Be great if you could post dates as you find out robert i would be gratefull

well i went to gatwick and heathrow last year, and gatwick was the best. a.r.d had a huge stand, but smaller at heathrow. also crownvic will be at this one!

well, might have bad news guys. might not make it tomorrow. wife is working 6 a.m till 2 pm tomorrow. so arranged for my youngest daughter to stay over with my grandaughter to help look after my handicapped youngest son. but my wife has just taken her to hospital as i think she has broken her little toe! will not know for definite for another couple of hours, but if she, has then that's it.

Hello, these shows, do they cater for commercial aviation enthusiasts only or is 1/72 military aircraft covered as well?
these shows cover all aspects and scales. a.r.d and airspotters had stands there today as well as loads of several private sellers!!!! anybody take any pics of todays show?????

well sadly rui, my daughter did break her toe, so could not make it. could not leave her to look after my 18 month old grandaughter, and her handicapped brother. i am sure other members went, but as for pics we will have to wait and see! fingers crossed!.

sorry about your daughters toe....Yes quite a crowd I took pics with my cousins camera at the show however he left to go back to China with that camera and assures me he will email them to me. once he does I promise to post pics..I picked up a Space models original 1/100 scale Govt of Oman 747SP on stand with a plaque dedicating the model to the Govt of Oman quite a lovely piece..ARD had the SAA and TWA SP samples on display..tons of models..however not to many people were buying..lots of lookers no takers..we also picked up a 1/50 scale mint British Caledonian Dc-10 on stand! will post photos in the next couple of days...

Not a bad day overall, bought some nice models and great to meet up with you again, Russell, after 3 years! It was also nice to see Dan as well! Glad you enjoyed the show and enjoy the flight home tomorrow! I shall be thinking of you stuck down the back in cattle class you know what I mean
Good to meet so many forumites there today and catch up with Dan and Russell. Looking forward to the LOT release from GJ this month.
Not much else new there today but picked up the Jet-X BA World Tails BAe 146s. Nothing worth taking photos of.
