I had a chance to visit the Canadian International Auto Show in downtown Toronto this past weekend and met up with WestjetterO.

There was a pretty good selection of shiny toys from all of the big manufacturers like Ford, Toyota, Mercedes, Kia, etc. Plus some other additions like Fiat showing off their 500 model for the Canadian market and HTT, maker of the Canadian designed + built Pléthore supercar. There was a definite presence of hybrid and electric plug-in vehicles as well. Here are some of the shots, enjoy!


Toyota Prius v - A new Prius addition for North America. Doesn't look too bad!


Maybach 57S - The ultimate mobster's getaway car!


HTT Pléthore - The HTT Pléthore is a Canadian car designed and built in Quebec!


BMW X4 - A textbook BMW


Mercedes SLS AMG - This has to my favourite Mercedes, just look at that sleek body and gullwing doors!


Mercedes CLS63 AMG - Looks MUCH more exciting than the older generation!


Mercedes SLK350


Chrysler 300C -The design changes on this new generation of the Chrysler 300 make the it look very classy! Most noticeably the slightly smaller tail lights with the new chrome trimmed border.


Subaru Impreza STi -The Impreza just pops in this rally blue!

Nice photo's but I see no Fords. Anyway I saw that top gear episode with the ghost, however it was the Bentley that tested the best.

What a terrific way to waste some time! :P I've always wanted to go to a legit auto show with new car debuts, and not the ones here people bring their old supped up autos with hideous paint jobs.

Was hoping you'd have a shot of the 2012 Ford Focus haha, I've been obsessed with it these days. Hoping it will be mine by the end of the year.

Superb shots Parm! It seems we both saw the exact same cars when I was in Montreal back a month ago or so. I love Audi's lights!

That RR Ghost was featured in this weeks Albania Mafia car special along with the MB S and ha ha, the Bentley/Yugo on Top Gear. This seasons Top Gear has been superb. The best so far was the guys tour of the Middle-East.

Thanks guys! And about the Fords.. there was actually a pretty large floor space populated by Fords but for some reason we sort of rushed through there but I did see the new Focus and it looks very cool! Now that I think about it Ford was pretty big at this year's show. It's definitely the most popular US car brand sold here in Canada.

Thanks Jan, and yeah I did notice a lot of similar cars from your photos. But I'm pretty sure the Toronto show is still the largest in Canada . Audi's LED lights are stunning indeed - as you can see I tried to capture that in the TT shot!

Yeah I couldn't help but laugh when I saw the Ghost and messing around with the S Class trunk at the show. This season of Top Gear is very good indeed and I'm looking forward to watching the next episodes!
