Lightbulb TAM Museum - Panair L-049 and much more!

Dear friends,

My photos of the reopening of TAM Museum (the world's greatest airline museum), taken yesterday :
Museu TAM - a set on Flickr

Airliners on display: TAM Fokker 100, EMB-110 (2 different), F-27 and some Cessnas, Panair do Brasil L-049 Constellation
(a Junkers 52 - which can be painted in VASP colors -, and an ATR-42 from Pantanal are still there, waiting for restoration)

Wow, it looks like a very interesting museum, especially from an airline ! Too bad I'm a bit far from Brazil.

I know you're feeling! I'd like to visit Sinsheim (Germany) and Monino (Russia) museums, too! When I was in France, four years ago, I visited all museums my few time there allowed me (Musée de l'Air, at Le Bourget - still the greatest and best aviation museum I've visited; Delta, at Orly; and Ailes Anciennes, at Toulouse)...

If TAM Museum were ready few years ago, it could receive one of the Concordes - Brazil was the first destination to be served by french SSTs (remembering that Air France 1st regular flight was Paris-Dakar-Rio!).

Fantastic museum. It's great to see an airline preserve it's history.

That's right, this first is too often neglected.
I still have to go to Sinsheim, maybe this summer. Monino would be amazing, I hope I'll go there someday.

Time to get back to their museum. When I visited their museum 4 years ago I couldn´t stop looking to the Me-109 and the Connie. What a great place for visiting.

Now they have the F-100, F-27 and EMB-110 together with L-049, and the JU-52 donated by portuguese air force (which can be painted in VASP colors) will be join the "fleet" soon!
