The guy marshalling had to be crapping his pants. Standing in front of a plane that is at full power is a nerve wracking experience. Whenever I've done it, in the back of my head I'm always thinking, "where the hell am I going to go if it starts barrelling at me"? Get too close to one of those engines and you are a goner.
