Do any of you happen to know how it's looking for the July 11th Shuttle launch? We'll be over there and hopefully, if weather is not a problem we would like to see this in person.

Now, I know it's probably way too early to tell, but if the weather has been kind over there recently then that could be a good thing.

With Florida weather being like this all the time in the summer, it really depends when they launch it. Usually the weather that tends to scrub launches usually happens around 2PM-6PM. It isn't like that every day, sometimes they happen outside of those times (like on Tuesday we had some strong storms around 5AM) or none happen on those days at all.

The only other thing that would scrub it is the shuttles being themselves and having some kind of problem pop up (this is more or less a problem with the fuel system I notice.)
