Default United Pilots here?

My mom was talking to a friend from high school earlier and she told me that her friend's husband is a captain for United airlines and has flown every piece of equipment for United. Anything from the 727 to the 747 and is now a captain for and Airbus. He lives in LA and I was wondering if anyone has heard or knows him because it sounds like he is pretty high up for United's staff. I know there are airline pilots on here and I didn't know if there were any from United. Its cool because he said that he would hook me up when I'm old enough for a job for United. I don't know his name but I will get it soon for you.

BTW I totally forgot he flies in the Air Force also as a Lt. Colnel and flies a C-130. I am also trying to get info whether United will go with Boeing or Airbus for their new updated fleet.

I doubt there are any here. United Airlines is running low on pilots, last month one of my flights were cancelled on United because they didn't have a pilot to fly the CRJ-200!
