What type of music do you guys listen to? (I'm not trying to start anything I'm just curious)!!!!!

I listen to EVERITHING! from the lastest eminem rap, to the classic bethoveen symphonies, from snoop dog to the Beatles, from Rihanna to Celine Dion... I listen music in Spanish, English, Italian, Portuguese... a little bit of everything!!

(exect heavy metal!)

I listen to Rap and Hip hop mostly but when I ski I listen to rock and alternative. Football, Baseball, and Basketball I listen to Hip hop and rock to get me excited and ready to play.

Yeah, I have like a MASSIVE range in tastes of music, as I'll listen to like, Idie, House, Garage, Rock, and I even like some of the oldies from the '90s! .....

Only kidding, just slagging people who say things like that. Massive range my a*se!

Anyway, I DO practically listen to almost anything.

About classical music though, it is ok, I love it and I like to listen to things as well as Opera, but just as there are crap pop/rock songs/tunes, there are many many more crap classical tunes out there. After all, there's hundreds of years worth of it Boeing Flyer, you just have to find it all (and oddly enough Mozart and Beethoven are two great places to start looking! I mainly like dark things though, so a good bit of Wagner is more my kind of cup of tea). Knowing what the context of the music is in the first place tends to help a lot.

DON'T even get me started on all that 'Plinky plonky' pish that sounds like it would all collapse if a slight breeze (or a fart) hit it, not to mention a few other things.

It has to actually be decent before I like it!

Listen to something with a good stonking tune. You know it makes sense!

Like I said I'm not trying to start anything, but I don't like metal because all it is is someone screaming into a mic. I know what your next post will be, it'll say "rap is only talking in a mic to a beat." Rap is USUALLY a person expressing their true feelings about their life. I realize people have different tastes in music, and if you wouldn't have said anything about rap I wouldn't have just said that about metal!

Airtran Airways, i agree with you how in some ways you don't like metal. A lot of people don't like senseless screaming into a mic. Its just that metal is different if you get passed the suckish bands, like Dragon Force. Eww

Well, with classical, what I was saying is that you have to sift through hundreds of years worth of crap and get all the best bits out of it, so to just get past Dragon Force should be a positive doddle!
