D.C. Metro trains collide
Don't know if you guys have seen this. Its on all the local stations and internet. Pretty scary, considering I was on the Red Line Sunday.............

That's quite some telescoping there!
Here in the Uk, a lot of the trains have crumple zones or bits on the ends of the coaches to stop them riding up over each other. I suppose you can only do so much against the forces of physics though.

My sympathies to those injured and the families of those killed.
 Did Airbus have anything to do with these subway cars?

The driver was "texting" just prior to the accident - I sure hope that the unfortunate driver who lost her life wasn't doing the same thing - because it's eerily similar - although I hope I'm wrong.
