Re: Whats a reform school?
Reform school is a highly structured learning environment, and most of the time they send juveniles with a very troubled history of breaking the law or unruly behavior in regular school. We have what's called the Rutherford House in Shreveport, a non-profit organization that deals with these kids by trying to break the cycle they're in and teach them to behave and to pay attention in class. A lot of kids can't be reached, but many of them leave with a better perspective on society. The other way is to school them in Juvenile Hall, which is a lot harsher.
