Thumbs up Cisv

this year i might go to munich germany with C.I.S.V.*.if i get chosen,i will probably have a connection flight by toronto.outside toronto there is a shop, aviation world:http://www.aviationworld.net/ . there they have great stuff like clothing, model planes flight simlulator addons and many more.hey i just thought of it that i might fly a lufthansa a340-313x or a a340-626.i always flew a 767 everywhere.i always wanted to fly a a340!hopefully that will happen if i have cheap ticketswell enough of thatnow my second subject lol.

*C.I.S.V. this is children's international summer village.when i was 11 they chose me for a village to brazil.for a few months me and my delegation got together a few times.i went with a adult leader two girls and another guy of my age.i had a choice of going to brazil or norway.i picked out which one with another guy,(the guy in front of me picked the one i wanted so that left me with brazil...i was sad because i wanted norway.i regretted it afterbrazil was a blast!i went for a month and flew a air canada 767 300er againi wasn't happythe good thing was that we had our own tv's and a really nice cabin!well this year if i get chosen i go to munich once again as i said and stay at a family alone!for a month.then the guy comes to my house sometime in the year for a month.that's called an interchange.at the age of 16 i could get chosen for j.c (junior counselor).well wish me luckhere is the site:CISV Canada - Children's International Summer Villages - Official Website its for almost all the countries in the world.read for mmore info.

You are fortunate to participate with CISV and based on your first travels through them, it sounds like you had a great cultural experience. You can't beat the opportunity CISV offers you. Stay with it.

Looking back, the only worldwide organization I knew of was the Peace Corps. I didn't volunteer because I was just joining the Air Force and had no college education. Instead, I participated as a donor through Christians Children's Fund. I sponsored a child from Fortaleza, Brazil and we corresponded through mail.

..... I spent a week off the coast of Norway around the Arctic Circle doing maneuvers with the Norwegian Navy. Cold, wet, dreary place out there in the ocean. But at least some Soviet Ty-95 Bears kept coming to visit us!

Never heard of CISV, but it sounds good!

Was probably yet another of these camps which the average Jos' in class like me were never even told about for one reason or another (usually because we were deemed too thick)

About the best I ever got was a trip to Greenock with the School choir, where, we WON a competition!!

And then my voice broke, quite literally.
