Disgusting... Horrible and awful, this has to stop.

Unfortunately, for whatever reason, these people will continue to hunt and kill.

I remember that there was a seal hunting day in 2005, I believe in northern canada. Apart from this, i think that all of these activities are illegal.

Especially disgusting since most of these animals are on the endangered species list.

I'm not a PETA member, and I love meat, but this is ridiculous. I thought they stopped beating baby seals awhile back...guess not. The justification they give for the massive animal harvests (whale and fish) is the huge demand for this food, and the loss of jobs and revenue if they stop. Sooo...if the animals become extinct, or the numbers become unsustainable for harvesting, won't the whalers and fisherman go broke and unemployed anyway? Can't wait for 2012 and the end of civilization (or maybe that's now?).

at least in some countries they have law for that and it is implemented. but here? we may have law but most of the time not implemented!
