Default Going to Sydney

Morning Folks !

Going to be spending a little time up in Sydney CBD with Qantas
and was wondering if anyone has any go to dealers for great Diecast
aircraft shops there as its been a while since i was in that location
and things have changed a lot.
747s 1:200 is my preference preferably
the harder to get ones !.

G'day,

Probably the better known store for such things is in Melbourne, out in Braybrook, at Collectors Aircraft Models, with Murray... however I'm guessing you know that already.

In sydney HobbyCo comes to mind, their main store being at 429-481 George St
Queen Victoria Building at the Town Hall Station, that's the Sydney CBD Store QVB
Phone (02) 92 644 877.They also have a couple of other stores scattered around Sydney, best to check here for more info:

Otherwise do any of our Sydney members know anywhere else..?

Lou

..... Been a real long time for me too and I probably could find my way around, but so much would be new. My last visit to Sydney, NSW (I've been to Sydney, Nova Scotia much more recently) was August 1970. Wasn't interested in model planes at all then but the local "Sheilas". Still have a friend from that visit, but she wasn't an Aussie, but from Malaysia.

Dave (how come I can remember things so clearly from 40-50 years ago but can't remember what I ate for supper last night?)

Welcome to the club! The other day I couldn't remember where I'd left the cat

The other place in Sydney I know of to get 1:200 models is Flight Experience (Boeing 737 flight simulator) located a walkable distance from the Sydney CBD at Darling Harbour. They usually stock official Hogan Boeing 1:200 models and other Boeing merchandise.

If anyone knows of any other place in the Sydney CBD to get models I'd like to know!
