Default Aviation Binoculars

Any advice on a good set of Binoculars for spotting, would like a set that I can use at the airport and also be able to get a clear view of aircraft at cruise...

I live under the approach paths for both MAN and LPL so will be good to view aircraft on approach also

I have a budget of approx £60 - £80... can i get a good set for that?

Unless you're planning to count the rivets on the airplane or stare at a pimple on the pilot's nose, a good set of 10X binocs should be easily in that range. Try some Bushnell binocs.

Thank you... Yeah not looking into that finer detail with rivets, but I will look at some 10x...

The other key issue is weight - I had a scratches on the rivet 16x pair and a) they killed your arms and b) the field of view was so tight you saw too much when it wasn't moving around due to a) above.

Bushnell PowerView. For 20x50mm you will get less than 80 USD.

Is that a bit of an over kill and seeking attention from the authorities magnet, too hang around airports with binoculars of that size?
