Default Facebook help.

I have about 58 'Likes' in my FB account, one of them being Air Blue. Now about 2 weeks ago I posted a pic of an Air Blue model on their page which was followed by comments and questions by other FB members (including my friends) who have 'liked' the same page.

Now today I was browsing through the Air Blue page when I saw someone posted a new comment about that model and I replied to him and my collegue at work when he opened FB on his laptop saw that pic of the model as well as my last comment i.e. 'Moin commented on Air Blue's photo' and when I checked my activity log it shows 'Moin commented on his own photo'. This person has not 'liked' the Air Blue page either but he can see my comment as well as the pic of the model.

Now I want to keep my aviation and model related pics and posts on FB restricted only to those groups and pages I (and certain friends of mine) have joined and liked and I don't want every Tom, **** and Harry on my friends list seeing every single pic and post I put up even if they're not a member of a group or have liked a page. Is there anyway to control who sees these pics and posts?

Ok what I have done is to select certain friends and mark them as 'acquaintances' so I'm hoping that will be enough so that they don't see every single news feed of mine.

Oh, I never realized it was a censored word. I'm sure you've heard that phrase used before.

Talking Re: Facebook help.

It does surprise me that the abbreviated form of 'Richard' gets censored.

It's absolutely ridiculous is what it is! This is an issue where IMO 400scalehangar is one-up on DA.C - they don't censure naughty words.

I'm not sure that having the ability to spell "F U C K" without censorship signifies a better forum. It just means you can be a potty-mouth and get away with it.

I can understand censoring certain words, but **** makes no sense at all as it is someone's name. But I can say Wiener, Wang or Johnson and in slang can mean the same as ****.

This might be a good time to talk about the famous aviator **** Rutan.

Following military service, **** headed an aircraft company with his brother Burt Rutan. It was during a 1981 lunch meeting at California's Mojave Inn that the Voyager project was conceived: **** and Jeana Yeager met with Burt Rutan to discuss their idea of starting an aviation company. During lunch, they spoke of creating an aircraft that could fly nonstop around the world. Burt, an aircraft designer, sketched on a napkin the plane design that would enable **** and Jeana Yeager to break the flight distance record of 12,532 miles (20,168 kilometers) set by a B-52 Stratofortress bomber in 1962. To realize Burt's design, they assembled a team of more than 50 and refined — over the next six years — Burt's original design, a process which included testing and studying a variety of lightweight materials. The team eventually selected a combination of graphite, fiberglass, and Kevlar for Voyager's main structure. The flight weight of its gasoline was approximately 9 times that of Voyager's final structure.
**** Rutan and Jeana Yeager took off in Voyager on December 14, 1986 from Edwards Air Force Base's 15,000-foot (4,600*m) runway. They struggled throughout the flight with weather, poor visibility of clouds and mountains, at night stress, sleep deprivation, a failing engine cooling water pump, and the continuing demand to exactly manage fuel. They were even denied access to the airspace above Libya. Finally, after 9 days, 3 minutes, and 44 seconds of flight, and a harrowing extended sudden stoppage of their engine power as they flew up the California coast, they touched down on December 23 with only a few gallons of fuel remaining. The 24,986-mile (40,211*km) trip yielded Rutan and Yeager numerous awards.
