New to the Forum
Hope this is a OK spot to post as I just found the forum looks as if about any topic on die-cast is here ......I have been building and flying models all my life and love anything aviation related from FSX to IL2 you name it I will try it took my first real flight at 6 in a PT-17 ......moved around the country as a young man so was always working on my pilots licence and did get it done at 46 but never looked any way but up ......but that is along story so hope to stay up to date with just what is going on in the collectors world over the coming weeks, as I will be selling off all my collection(and it is a lot) as I no longer have the time or space to keep it right....... so if you know some one up in the north west central part of Wisconsin....... let me know would like it all to go to a good home ......the Osudog

Pretty poor response to your 1st post, 'dog!
I suggest you look at the For Sale, Trade or Swap! section of this forum and list your items for disposal there. I presume it's all diecast stuff as this is a diecast forum?
I'll be interested to see what you have.
Welcome.

Re: New to the Forum
Are plastic models considered diecast? or only metal considered diecast? Just wondering.

That is a good Q and I would say yes as it is a casting mold that the good one's are done from I was most impressed with the large 1/18 scale aircraft from Century 21 and I have see some of the new in the box go for over 300$ ..go feger it was a 59.00 aircraft at Walmart...... but that is the way it is in the collecting world it is what and when the right person is looking for what you have...I never could get in to one size or company but hell I had money and time back then ...and Space

Sorry, only just checked back.
I'm not a moderator or owner of this site so don't write the rules. My personal definition of diecast is metal, though I realise there are some high quality plastic models of all scales.
Maybe the Other Scales & Antique Models section of this forum is the place to go. I haven't spent much time there myself as my interest is 1:400 scale metal airliner models.

Re: New to the Forum
I just read this thread, and although we like to welcome new people to this forum, I have to say that Osudog's comments read like someone on crack. Sorry, might just be your style. Plus it's always kind of a turn-off when the first post a person does is to hawk their model collection. Kind of makes this seem like a dumping ground.

I like Dave's comments on how he hopes the planes are diecast because this is a diecast forum. After being a member for 7 years I would think he would know by now that their is much more than metal planes being discussed and sold on this website.

I also thought the same thing. Maybe Osudog experienced too many low flybys at Oshkosh meets. Maybe he's a Cheesehead. Maybe both. Wait a minute...I'm a Cheesehead too.

Sounds like you're picking up the wrong nose. Still, be careful with people from Snottsdale and wear a wetsuit. Homes in those parts are known to have flash snots.
